❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I need to be fit to start martial arts?

Not at all. Our classes are designed for all fitness levels, from total beginners to experienced athletes. You’ll build strength, flexibility, and endurance over time—at your own pace. Martial arts is a journey, and we meet you where you are.

What should I wear to my first class?

For your first few sessions, just wear comfortable gym-style clothing (t-shirt, track pants, and clean trainers or bare feet). Once you decide to continue, we’ll guide you on how to order your uniform (dobok).

Is there a minimum age to join?

We welcome students from age 6 and up. We offer tailored classes for children, teens, and adults so everyone can train in a safe, age-appropriate environment.

What is the oldest age someone can start?

There’s no upper age limit! We’ve had students start in their 40s, 50s—even 60s. Whether you're returning to martial arts or trying it for the first time, our instructors will support your goals with age-appropriate training. It’s never too late to start.

How long does it take to earn a black belt?

It depends on your training frequency, effort, and progression—but most students can expect to achieve black belt level within 4 to 6 years of consistent practice. Our structured syllabus and regular gradings keep you moving forward with clear goals.

Can parents watch the class?

Absolutely. We encourage parents and family members to observe and support their children’s progress. Many parents even end up joining themselves!

Is martial arts safe for kids?

Yes. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in working with children. Classes are structured, supervised, and focused on developing coordination, discipline, and confidence—safely and respectfully.

Do I need any experience to join?

No experience needed. Most of our students start as complete beginners. Whether you're looking to get fit, learn self-defence, or gain confidence, we’ll support you from day one.
